MRI Medical is searching for an experienced DIRECTOR OF REGULATORY AFFAIRS/QUALITY ASSURANCE with the proven ability to provide oversight, create policy, and set strategic objectives for MRI Medical in compliance, regulatory affairs and quality systems.

Responsibilities
- Advises and keeps management team updated on regulatory issues, trends and events in outside environment that could impact the company
- Develops and implements procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
- Develops and implements new product submissions to regulatory bodies
- Hosts outside regulatory agencies
- Responsible for planning and directing quality assurance policies, programs, and initiatives
- Participates in the development of a strategic plan to define the company business direction into the future
- Leads a team of people, ensuring their growth and development and their ability to meet MRI performace standards
Required:
- Applicable Bacelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years directly related experience
- Knowledgeable in FDA Requirements for medical device manufacturers or experience with medical devices/pharmaceuticals
- Experience in working with top level management
- Solid strategic and analytical skills
Preferred:
- MBA or other advanced degree
- Medical device and pharmaceutical background
- Packaging and Sterilization Experience

Responsibilities
- Ensures regulatory requirements are met
- Supports the development team in the development of new medical devices
- Understands all aspects of assigned production line(s) in order to help minimize scrap and complaints
- Implements corrective actions and uses CAPA system to consistently improve product quality
- Prepares on-going written protocols and reports
Skills/Requirements
- Applicable Bachelors degree and/or equivalent experience in a related field
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within field, including regulatory affairs
- Ability to problem solve, identify errors and deficiencies and perform research with limited guidance
- Ability to apply knowledge to their job function using pre-established guidelines and instructions
- Strong knowledge of the development process of FDA-regulated medical devices

Responsibilities
- Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization
- Determines parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification
- Maintains all product related documentation including quality (DCR, NCRs, CAR, protocols, specs, procedures, calibration, drawings, complaints) and costing
- Coordinates with other operational departments to ensure projects are completed on task
- Coordinate tasks of others within projects
- Communicates with customers and vendors as needed
- Upholds MRI vision and core values
- Performs other duties as required
Skills / Requirements:
- Applicable Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent experience in a related field
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within engineering/manufacturing field

- Proficient computer skills
