What do the letters M R I stand for?
M R I stands for Manufacturing Research Incorporated. In the early 1980’s the trend in companies was to be three letter names (IBM, AT&T). MRI was available and we took it.
Is the company or its products associated with Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)?
Our products are not associated in any way with Magnetic Resonance Imaging. We think the popularity of Magnetic Resonance Imaging occured after we picked MRI.
Will MRI Medical take on a project doing the design only?
Not preferably. We design so that we can make money manufacturing. We don’t have the capacity in development to take on projects in which we don’t have a high level of confidence will reach our production.
Will MRI Medical do the manufacturing of an already existing device?
Yes, if it is a unique product without multiple competitors and cannot be made in China.
Why did you chose Tucson for the company location?
Our owner was already living here when he decided to create the company. Now - why would anyone want to live anywhere else? Our culture is family and wellness. Tucson is a perfect place to raise a family and partake in healthy activities like cycling and hiking.

Silicone Foley Catheter.

Never, only silicone.
